Studio Friend Pass Policy & Liability Waiver

The Friend Pass allows active Tradeshop members of Waldo’s and Company to bring a guest (“Friend”) into one of our creative studio spaces for a single-day visit. Please read the following terms and waiver carefully.

Friend Pass Overview

Terms & Conditions

• Friend Passes are available only to active members of Waldo’s and Company.
• Passes are valid for one calendar day and are non-transferable.
• A tradeshop member may bring no more than two Friends per day using this pass.
• Tradeshop member is responsible for insuring friend engages in all safety procedures and clean up.
• Tradeshop member must make sure Friend is using only the clay that is available at Waldo’s and Company.
• Friends must be actively supervised by the sponsoring member at all times.
• Friends must adhere to all studio rules, safety protocols, and staff directions.
• Studio staff may revoke access at any time if behavior is unsafe or inappropriate.
• Friends are not permitted to operate kilns, mix chemicals, or use hazardous materials.

Liability Waiver

By signing below, I, the undersigned guest (“Friend”), acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. I understand that participation in activities at Waldo’s and Company’s ceramics, printmaking, or darkroom studios involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, exposure to equipment, tools, chemicals, or materials.
2. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and agree to abide by all safety guidelines and instructions provided by Waldo’s and Company staff and my sponsoring member.
3. I understand that Waldo’s and Company, its board, staff, and volunteers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while I am on the premises or participating in studio activities.
4. I release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Waldo’s and Company, its board, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation.
